Ann Howard Named Communications Director for Department of Corrections
TALLAHASSEE — Department of Corrections Secretary Ken Tucker announced on Monday to his staff that Ann Howard will be starting as the new communications director for DOC, effective December 16, 2011. "I am pleased to have Ann Howard join the DOC family. I believe she will be a strong asset to help keep our momentum going strong and in the right direction," said Secretary Tucker. "As the Department faces new challenges, Ann will help the department educate our citizens about DOC and help keep our employees informed about what’s happening here in Tallahassee."
"I'm honored that Secretary Tucker has trusted me with this amazing opportunity to help communicate his goals and ideas for the agency’s future," said Howard. "I’m ready for this challenge.
