You are invited to tour Apalachee Correctional Institution

WHAT: The event is intended to bring community leaders together, to give them a greater understanding of the prison system while providing them with an overview of the Apalachee CI facility and its operations.  Presenters will focus on Apalachee CI’s extensive efforts to prepare inmates educationally, socially and vocationally for re-entry into society.

WHEN: July 23, 2012.  The event will begin at 12 p.m. EST beginning with an informational presentation, and concluding with a guided tour of the institution.
WHO: Department of Corrections and local dignitaries to Jackson County. The Community Partnership Public Event is open to all media.
