Department of Corrections Cancels Visitation at
Central Florida Facilities Due to Isaac
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Florida Department of Corrections Secretary Ken Tucker announced today the cancellation of weekend visitation at several Central Florida Corrections’ facilities due to weather from what is currently Tropical Storm Isacc.
The following facilities visitation is cancelled until further notice:
- Big Pine Key Road Prison
- Tarpon Springs Work Release Center
- Largo Residential
- Largo Road Prison
- St. Pete Work Release Center
- Pinellas Work Release Center
- Suncoast Work Release Center
- Bradenton Transition
- Ft. Myers Work Camp
Information about reinstated visitation will be posted on the Department’s web, Facebook and Twitter sites.
