The DAWGS program brings together rescue dogs from St. Joseph Bay Humane Society with inmates from Gulf Correctional Institution's Gulf Forestry Camp, who obedience-train them. The dogs who graduate are crate trained, housebroken, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on shots and micro-chipped (upon request). They can each sit, stay, come and walk by your side without pulling on the leash.
