Department of Corrections Cancels Visitation at Some Panhandle Facilities Due to Tropical Storm Karen

~Visitation at Panama City Work Release Center and Pensacola Work Release Center is cancelled this weekend.~

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Florida Department of Corrections Secretary Michael Crews announced today the cancellation of weekend visitation at two Corrections’ Work Release Centers due to weather from what is currently Tropical Storm Karen.

The following facilities visitation is cancelled until further notice:

  • Pensacola Work Release Center
  • Panama City Work Release Center

Information about visitation cancellation at additional facilities will be posted on the Department’s web, Facebook and Twitter sites.
