Havana, Florida- Secretary Michael Crews and Warden Walt Summers invite you to attend the Gadsden Re-Entry Center Open House on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Following a short program, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility and ask questions.

|WHO:||Secretary Michael Crews, Representative Dennis Baxley and other legislative members, Tallahassee Community College President Dr. Jim Murdaugh, Gadsden County elected officials as well as other community members and guests.|
|WHY:||The Gadsden Re-Entry Center is part of the Department’s efforts to reduce recidivism and help keep Florida families safe by providing inmates the tools they need to transition from prison to community in order to be productive, contributing members to the local economy. The community is an critical piece of the re-entry puzzle and look forward to its partnership as we work together to achieve the common goal of reducing recidivism by providing prevention, intervention, and diversionary services to at-risk individuals, offenders, and ex-offenders.|
