Century Correctional Institution to Hold Community Partnership Meeting

~Attendees will get to tour the institution and get a better understanding of the facility and its operations.~

WHAT: This Community Partnership Meeting is intended to bring community leaders together, to give them a greater understanding of the prison system while providing them with an overview of the Century Correctional Institution (CI) and its operations.  Presenters will focus on Century CI’s extensive efforts to prepare inmates educationally, socially and vocationally for re-entry into society.
WHEN: Wednesday, August 27. The event will begin at 9 a.m. Central Standard Time.The event will include a brief informative presentation, a guided tour of the institution and refreshments.

WHO: Department of Corrections and local community leaders and members.  The Community Partnership Meeting is open to all media, however no video or photos may be taken without the prior consent and approval from Department staff at the event. No cell phones will be permitted inside the institution.
