DOC Partners with National Guard to Hire Veterans and Military Personnel

Miami, Fla. – The Florida Department of Corrections values our nation’s veterans and military personnel.  Through a partnership with the National Guard, the Department is actively recruiting veterans and military personnel to join the Department in our mission to provide care and custody for our inmates, and ensure the safety and security of Florida families.

WHAT: A Guard and Reserve Hiring Event to provide Department of Corrections employment opportunities to veterans and military personnel. Applicants will have the opportunity to take the Criminal Justice Battery Aptitude Test (CJBAT) on site.
WHEN: February 19, 2015. The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. and include representatives of National Guard, U.S. Army Reserve, and the Florida Department of Corrections.
