TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Each institution has checked in to headquarters and inmates and staff have food, water and secure conditions. Initial damage and environmental assessments are being conducted.
Phone access is open at all facilities for officers and inmates. However, due to storm conditions communications may be impacted.
Safety continues to be the primary mission as Wardens assess their facilities and weather conditions.
