FDC Assault Advisories | March 22 - 28, 2023
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Columbia Correctional Institution: On March 22, Inmate Matthew Tighe (V22023) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On March 22, Inmate Juan Allen (166695) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On March 22, Inmate Michael Rayburn (R73135) assaulted officers by striking them in multiple area. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officers received outside medical treatment.
Wakulla Annex: On March 23, Inmate Christian Mateo (T88063) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Central Florida Reception Center: On March 23, Inmate Christopher Rodriguez (X63534) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Annex: On March 24, Inmate Brando Beverly (G40455) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lowell Annex: On March 24, Inmate Destiny Boice (N41613) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hernando Correctional Institution: On March 24, Inmate Gregory Jones (X09098) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Wakulla Annex: On March 24, Inmate Antonio Cannon (M11300) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On March 24, Inmate Korray Harris (M57505) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lowell Annex: On March 24, Inmate Destiny Boice (N41613) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Taylor Correctional Institution: On March 24, Inmate Elijah Barbary (J20601) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On March 25, Inmate Marcus Miller (T82336) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Franklin Correctional Institution: On March 25, Inmate Joshua Hetman (E30187) assaulted an officer by falling on them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officer received outside medical treatment.
Desoto Annex: On March 26, Inmate Orlando Ruiz (M28456) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lowell Annex: On March 26, Inmate Gila Hankins (V90603) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Walton Correctional Institution: On March 26, Inmate Joshua Hetman (E30187) assaulted an officer by exposing them to narcotics. Staff responded appropriately. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officer received outside medical treatment.
Apalachee Correctional Institution: On March 27, Inmate Enrique Vasquez (S40739) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On March 27, Inmate Derrick Allen (J42039) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Calhoun Correctional Institution: On March 27, Inmate Michael Coleman (B14762) assaulted an officer by attacking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officer received outside medical treatment.
Okaloosa Work Camp: On March 28, Inmate Elvis Pino (B05778) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Holmes Correctional Institution: On March 28, Inmate Roderick Williams (R92307) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Calhoun Correctional Institution: On March 28, Inmate Eddie Cooks (978441) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida State Prison: On March 28, Inmate Elford Brown (P71648) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On March 28, Inmate Dantoine Jackson (C21183) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida State Prison: On March 28, Inmate Laquanteris Butler (N29729) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Northwest Florida Reception Center: On March 28, Inmate Anthony Pressley (A51729) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officer received outside medical treatment.
