VISITOR CONTRABAND INTERDICTION | March 21 – March 27, 2024

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) has zero tolerance for contraband of any kind, and visitors attempting to introduce contraband are subject to suspension or termination of their visitation privileges and arrest.

Suwannee Annex: On Sunday, March 24, visitor Kalton Davis was visiting Inmate Trayvon Davis (V71493) when a K9 alerted to the visitor’s vehicle. Staff discovered 23.9 grams of marijuana, a pistol, and 12 bullets. The visitation was terminated.

Hamilton Correctional Institution: On Sunday, March 24, visitor Angelina Tiroudu was visiting Inmate Kameron Tims (K21516) when a K9 alerted to the visitor’s vehicle. Staff discovered 2.5 grams of marijuana, and the visitation was terminated.

Sumter Work Camp: On Sunday, March 24, visitor Camari Smith was visiting Inmate Allen Walker (R90260) when staff discovered a cell phone in a diaper bag. The visitation was terminated.

Polk Work Camp: On Sunday, March 24, visitor Shanon Summers was visiting Inmate Joshua Malone (R65722) when a K9 alerted to the visitor’s vehicle. Staff discovered marijuana residue, and the visitation was terminated.

Polk Work Camp: On Sunday, March 24, visitor Abbey Hofford was visiting Inmate Dorian Watson (R79977) when a K9 alerted to the visitor’s vehicle. Staff discovered marijuana residue, and the visitation was terminated.

Central Florida Reception Center: On Saturday, March 23, visitor Kimyzia Cronin was visiting Inmate Gerard Davis (N90969) when a K9 alerted to the visitor’s vehicle. Staff discovered marijuana residue, and the visitation was terminated.

Central Florida Reception Center: On Saturday, on March 23, visitor Rosalinda Lopez was visiting Inmate Joel Arroyo (E91881) when a K9 alerted to the visitor’s vehicle. Staff discovered marijuana residue, and the visitation was terminated.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On Saturday, March 23, visitor Abrecha Bryant was visiting Inmate Stephon Gould (G25341) when a K9 alerted to the visitor’s vehicle. Staff discovered 1.4 grams of marijuana, two pills of oxycodone, and 64 fluid ounces of alcohol. The visitation was terminated.

Sago Palm Re-Entry: On Saturday, March 23, visitor Sonya Colon was visiting Inmate Miguel Bonilla (B06250) when a K9 alerted to the visitor’s vehicle. Staff discovered THC residue, and the visitation was terminated.

Tomoka Correctional Institution: On Thursday, March 21, visitor Monica Young was visiting Inmate Nathaniel Jones (587065) when a K9 alerted to the visitor’s vehicle. A search was refused, and the visitation was terminated.
