Visitor Contraband Interdiction | April 27 – May 3, 2023

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) has zero tolerance for contraband of any kind, and visitors attempting to introduce contraband are subject to suspension or termination of their visitation privileges and arrest.

Franklin Correctional Institution: On April 30, staff discovered a visitor to be in possession of 29.5 grams of cocaine concealed inside a food bag. The visitation was terminated. The visitor was arrested.
